BIO / STEPHANIE PASCALE
Hi, I’m Stephanie. I’m A New Jersey Photographer Who Loves Good Light, Real Emotion, And Images That Mean Something.
With a background in filmmaking, I’m always attuned to how light, movement, and expression come together to tell a story. Whether I’m photographing a family, a couple, or a meaningful celebration, I want your images to capture more than what the moment looked like. I want them to preserve how it felt.
Above all, I want you to feel comfortable, confident, and genuinely seen in front of my camera.
Meet Stephanie
My relationship with photography began in the eighth grade, when I became enthralled by the photographs I found in books and decided I wanted to make images of my own. I saved everything I earned doing yard work that summer until I could buy my first camera. From that point on, photography and video became the way I learned to observe the world.
While taking a semester off between county college and Montclair State University, I started my first photography business and seriously considered pursuing it full time. I ultimately chose to study filmmaking, where I became fascinated by the decisions behind an image: where the camera is placed, how lighting creates atmosphere, how color shapes emotion, and how composition can communicate what words cannot.
Shooting film later created the most meaningful shift in my photography. With a limited number of frames, every photograph matters. Film taught me to slow down, observe carefully, wait for the right moment, and make each press of the shutter intentional.
Behind the camera, I am calm and observant, but the people I love would also say I become electrified when I am photographing. I provide direction when it is helpful while watching for the expressions, gestures, and moments that cannot be manufactured.
Whether a photograph is framed, shared online, or passed down through a family, what matters to me is that the person receiving it cherishes the moment it preserved. Outside of photography, I am a devoted film lover and one of four quadruplets, so stories, personalities, and family relationships have always been a big part of my world.
